The Trip

Regarding this trip, I have been warned before. No turning back, no looking back.

My provision was very little and it was my foolishness that it was too late to be regretted. That I might meet a lion, I was taught how to win its heart. My journey has indeed been so far, but there was not even a lion I met.

Maybe time has given me a bit of wisdom. Until I come to a conclusion. That in the journey we choose, we don’t have to meet what our ancestors have encountered. You might meet something else, even something you can’t possibly tame. So keep going, be grateful for the good things and just enjoy every beautiful sights you see.

And if something that is destined to meet you makes you hurt, then you must learn to take care of that wound. Those wounds will make you stronger. Just keep holding on, live on.

Do you know what I got here? A king centipede. It didn’t give me a gaping wound, but it was really venomous.
