Willy Mahdani

I am a clinical microbiologist, working at the intersection of science; service and education. From hospital labs to university lecture theatres, from personal desks to scientific discussion rooms. I live in Banda Aceh. I am here to learn, share and serve.
This blog exists as an open space to record thoughts, share insights, and hold little stories from the world of clinical microbiology and my everyday life as an ordinary woman that comes with it. Here, science meets reflection, data coexists with narrative, and the silence behind the microscope meets the stories. Welcome,, hope you find something useful, or at least that you have fun here.

What I love to do

There are many things in this world that make me pause, smile, and feel inspired. I set aside space to notice the things that make life feel more meaningful and dive into the beauty of the little things that are often overlooked. Here I’ve collected some of my favourites.

There maybe some, you love too.
